The Rev. Cn. Jeff Weber, Esq.
Executive Director, Lead Counsel
The Rev. Canon Jeff Weber is an accomplished attorney, Anglican priest, and executive leader whose work spans the disciplines of law, theology, and strategic leadership. An ordained Anglican priest and member of the ACNA clergy since its founding, Jeff has served as Lead Strategist for Anglican 1000, the Founding Chancellor of the Diocese of Christ Our Hope, Associate Rector at Church of the Redeemer, and Priest in Charge of its Sudanese congregation. He currently serves on the ACNA Governance Task Force and as Presiding Officer of the Ecclesiastical Court for the Trial of a Bishop.
For more than two decades, Jeff has been engaged in international ministry, serving as a church planter and leader in Russia, North Africa, Ukraine, Mexico, and across North America.

In 2018, he founded the William Wilberforce Center, which in just seven years has become a leading advocate for humanitarian immigration. The Center has represented more than 400 individuals and families from 24 nations, providing legal representation and translation services in over a dozen languages. In 2023, the American Immigration Lawyers Association recognized the Center for its extensive pro bono work on behalf of Afghan allies who served alongside U.S. troops.

Jeff’s advocacy has secured significant victories in multiple federal circuits—from California to Washington, D.C.—including a grant of protection for a Pakistani priest whose family was murdered for their faith, now serving in the Diocese of San Joaquin, and asylum after a multi-day trial in Washington, D.C., for a young Russian believer and imprisoned disciple of Alexei Navalny, now living safely in the United States. Today, the Center serves persecuted believers from Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Central Asia, the Middle East, Ukraine, and Russia—men and women for whom following Christ has come at great personal cost.

Admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of the Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Jeff brings more than thirty years of experience navigating the complex intersections of state, federal, and ecclesiastical litigation.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Jeff finished at the top of his class and served as Managing Editor of The Journal of Law and Education, as well as a research and legal writing instructor. He completed advanced courtroom training at the University of Virginia School of Law’s Trial Advocacy Institute, one of the nation's premier programs in litigation strategy.

Jeff began his legal career at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP, a 200-member national firm, representing corporations and nonprofits in federal and state litigation and complex tort defense. His early work as a licensed securities broker and financial planner with Paine Webber, Jackson & Curtis shaped a distinctive perspective he later applied to securities-related controversies.

He later became a shareholder and managing partner of Anderson, Weber & Pangia, P.C., a plaintiff’s trial firm specializing in nursing home abuse, aviation disaster, and medical malpractice litigation. As Principal and Managing Attorney of The Weber Law Firm, PLLC, he expanded his practice to include employment law and complex civil litigation. His work has included representing professional athletes—as a panel attorney for the National Football League Players Association and the Professional Hockey Players Association—as well as advising Fortune 500 clients and securing multimillion-dollar judgments on behalf of the Recording Industry Association of America. In addition, Jeff served as a North Carolina Certified Arbitrator, presiding over more than 100 commercial and negligence matters.

He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Vice-Chair of the Immigration Section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Jeff continues to serve the ACNA as a priest at Church of the Redeemer (Diocese of Christ Our Hope, Greensboro, NC) and remains active in both the Governance Task Force and the Court for the Trial of a Bishop.

Jeff holds degrees in Greek and New Testament from Columbia International University, a law degree from the University of South Carolina, and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary; he recently completed his doctoral work in contextual theology.

He lives in Greensboro, North Carolina, with his wife, Leigh Ann, and continues to teach, write, and advocate for the integration of faith, law, and justice in both the Church and the public square.
