At The Wilberforce Center, we believe that no one should face the immigration system without a fair chance at representation. Legal advocacy can make the difference between safety and separation, freedom and detention, a future of promise or one of return to a dire living situation.
Your Sponsorship Makes Justice Possible
By becoming a Sponsor, you make it possible for someone to receive the legal help they urgently need. As a nonprofit, The Wilberforce Center offers low-bono legal services—professional representation provided at significantly reduced cost. Your gift helps cover these reduced fees and case expenses for individuals and families who would otherwise be unable to afford them.
When you choose to sponsor a case, you aren’t just giving financially—you’re standing beside someone in one of the most vulnerable moments of their life. When our clients learn that someone they’ve never met has stepped forward to stand with them—they are often moved to tears. In that moment, fear gives way to hope, and they feel deeply seen, supported, and blessed.

Give toward sponsorship on our DONATE page. In the “Note” field, please write: “Sponsorship of a legal case.” This ensures your contribution goes directly toward providing legal representation for an upcoming case. Once your sponsorship is matched, we’ll notify you when your funds have been allocated and provide appropriate case updates.
